1995年毕业于安徽大学,获理学学士学位,同年进入中科院合肥物质科学研究院从事研究工作,2006年于中科院合肥物质科学研究院获得理学博士学位。曾在中科院合肥物质科学研究院担任固体物理所纳米材料应用发展研究中心主任、安徽工业技术创新研究院院长、应用技术研究所所长;现任中科院固体物理研究所党委书记、纪委书记兼副所长,中国科学院光伏与节能材料重点实验室主任,安徽省能源与环境材料行业中心主任,国家重点研发计划首席科学家(2017),安徽省115团队带头人,合肥市拔尖人才,安徽纳米材料及应用产业技术创新战略联盟秘书长、中国热管理材料与技术创新联盟副理事长、合肥市化工学会理事长。

主要从事高性能和功能化复合材料的制备与产业化研究工作,主持了国家重点研发计划项目、国家科技支撑计划课题、国家863计划项目、中科院重点部署项目、安徽省重大专项项目、企业合作项目等30余项。近年来,在Macromolecules、Journal of Materials Chemistry A、Carbon等材料领域TOP杂志上发表文章70余篇,申请国家发明专利60余项,已授权40余项。
